An integrated thermostat maintains consistently optimal performance, allowing the damper to withstand harsh elements such as sand, mud, jumps, and high-speed driving without compromise. Designed to meet the brutal demands of rally raid, it features low-friction, heat-resistant seals and a premium spherical bearing.

Designed for maximum heat dissipation, the 620R features an external reservoir with both fixed and flexible mounting options. Filled with Reiger’s proprietary oil, it maintains consistent damping even under the extreme forces, heat, and high speeds of rally racing. 620R Technology Highlights
The reservoir bridge is CNC-machined and paired with an upright design to ensure a robust and stiff structure. Furthermore, this configuration reduces flexing and friction to a minimum.
The “R” indicates reversed architecture — a design that allows for more precise control of internal flow and pressure. This advanced setup significantly reduces cavitation and hysteresis. Combined with premium materials and rugged construction, the 620R delivers unmatched long-term performance under the most demanding conditions.
With independent high- and low-speed compression valves, the system offers precise adjustment to tailor handling characteristics to your exact needs. The rebound adjuster adds another layer of fine-tuning, enhancing both ride comfort and vehicle stability.
The patented Corner Control Valve (CCV) is available as an optional feature, designed to enhance handling during cornering. Under lateral g-forces, it activates a dedicated, adjustable damping circuit that fine-tunes both roll resistance and damping behavior, resulting in improved grip and quicker, more stable cornering performance.
